UV-resistant glass
The high UV protection is achieved by means of a UV-resistant coating, or by means of a PVB film that laminated between two glass panes. This interference coating is available up to a reflection value of 0.5%.
UV light causes severe color loss, paper embrittlement and other degradation processes of framed pieces. These processes are both cumulative and irreversible; simply put, the damage will worsen and once light damage has occurred, it cannot be reversed.
With good UV-resistant glass, your works and old photos can be displayed safely. You can keep damage from UV light to the absolute minimum and your heritage will last longer. UV-resistant glass is an easy way to invest in preserving your art and memorabilia so that you can pass it on in good order.
